Jamie’s research topic is Hybrid piezoelectric/magnetic polymer nanocomposite system for self-sensing soft robotic actuators
Her research focuses on interfaces between nanofillers and polymer matrix, as well as various stimuli-responsive materials to create self-sensing morphing devices with enhanced performance and material properties. She is the recipient of the NSERC CGS D award (2019) and in 2017, she was featured as one of 150 women in STEM by hErVOLUTION.
